Core Concept
- You own your work. Everything you create or upload is 100% yours.
- We only use your content to run the service. For example, to display it, show thumbnails, or enable collaboration.
- We won’t sell or use your content commercially without your explicit permission.
- You control your sharing. Your content is private unless you choose to share it.
- We’re committed to your privacy and security. Your data is protected and won’t be shared or sold.
- We do not use your artwork or uploaded content to train artificial intelligence models.
Detailed Terms
Accounts
- Accuracy: When you create an account, provide accurate, up to date information.
- Responsibility: You’re responsible for keeping your password secure and for any actions taken under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use IdeaDrawn. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must consent to your use.
Children’s Privacy
- Under 13: IdeaDrawn is not intended for children under 13 years old, and users under 13 may not create accounts or use the service.
- No Knowing Collection: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we may delete the account and related information.
- Parent or Guardian Contact: If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to IdeaDrawn, contact us at [email protected] so we can review and take appropriate action.
Subscriptions & Payments
- Plans: Some features require a paid subscription. IdeaDrawn currently offers a monthly plan billed at US $8.99 per month and an annual plan that is billed annually at an effective rate of US $6.99 per month.
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle, whether monthly or annually, unless you cancel before renewal.
- Free Trials: Free trials may require payment information upfront. You won’t be charged until the trial ends, but fees will apply unless you cancel beforehand.
- Price Changes: We may change our subscription pricing from time to time. If we do, we will provide at least two weeks’ notice before the new pricing takes effect. Continued use of a paid subscription after the new pricing becomes effective means you accept the updated pricing.
- Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription anytime through your account settings where available, or by contacting us for help. We aim to make cancellation reasonably simple and available through the same general method used to manage your subscription where supported.
- Effect of Cancellation: Cancellation stops future charges but does not automatically refund prior payments unless otherwise stated, approved by us, or required by law. Your paid access will continue through the end of the then current billing term unless otherwise stated.
- Refunds: We review refund requests on a case by case basis. If approved, the refund will be processed according to your bank’s schedule, and it may take several business days to appear in your account.
Checkout Disclosures
- Pre-Purchase Terms: Before you complete a paid subscription purchase, we will present the applicable subscription terms, including the plan price, billing period, renewal terms, trial terms if any, and cancellation instructions.
- Recurring Billing Authorization: By subscribing, you authorize IdeaDrawn or its payment provider to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis according to the plan you choose, unless you cancel before the next renewal date.
- Annual Billing Clarity: If a plan is described using an effective monthly price but billed annually, the checkout page will identify that the full annual amount is charged upfront for the selected billing term.
Third Party Payment Processors
- Payment Providers: Payments may be processed by third party payment providers, such as card processors, checkout providers, app stores, or other billing services used by IdeaDrawn.
- Processor Terms: Your payment information and billing activity may be subject to the payment provider’s own terms, privacy policy, security practices, refund rules, and dispute procedures.
- Card Details: IdeaDrawn does not store full payment card details unless expressly stated. Payment providers may store and process payment details as needed to complete transactions, manage subscriptions, prevent fraud, and comply with law.
Chargebacks and Failed Payments
- Failed Payments: If your payment method is declined, expires, or otherwise fails, we may suspend, downgrade, or limit access to paid features until payment is successfully completed.
- Chargebacks: If a payment is reversed, disputed, or results in a chargeback, we may suspend or limit your account while the issue is reviewed and resolved.
- Outstanding Balances: You remain responsible for any amounts owed for paid services you used before cancellation, suspension, or termination, except where prohibited by law.
Your Content
Ownership
- You own all artwork, files, projects, and other content you upload or create on IdeaDrawn.
- You grant IdeaDrawn a limited license to host, store, process, display, transmit, and otherwise use your content only as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and provide the service.
Sharing and Privacy
- Default Privacy: By default, any content you create or upload on IdeaDrawn remains private and accessible only to you. You have full control over what you share and with whom. You can choose to make content public, share it with specific users, or keep it private.
- Collaboration Features: If you choose to use our collaboration tools, you agree to allow your selected collaborators to access, view, and interact with the shared content. Collaborators may be able to edit, comment, or provide feedback, depending on the permissions you set.
- Platform Access: You grant IdeaDrawn permission to access and process your content as needed to operate the service, including backing up data, troubleshooting, enforcing policies, and improving functionality. We do not sell or share your content without your explicit consent.
Backups, Export, and Download Limits
- Your Backups: You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important artwork, files, projects, and account content.
- Export Tools: IdeaDrawn may provide export, download, or sharing tools, but we do not guarantee that all content, versions, layers, settings, comments, metadata, or collaboration history can always be exported or recovered.
- Recovery Limits: We do not guarantee that content can be recovered after deletion, account termination, service errors, discontinued features, expired subscriptions, or other loss of access.
Collaboration Ownership Disputes
- Collaborator Agreements: If you work with other users, you are responsible for deciding ownership, permissions, revenue sharing, credit, and usage rights between collaborators.
- User Disputes: IdeaDrawn is not responsible for resolving ownership, authorship, payment, or permission disputes between users or collaborators.
- Shared Access: Before inviting collaborators or giving edit access, make sure you have the rights and permission to share the content involved.
Mature or Inappropriate Content
- Flagging Mature Content: Content with mature themes, such as nudity or adult topics, must be flagged to maintain a safe environment. Failure to do so may result in content removal or account restrictions.
- Prohibited Content: Illegal content, including child exploitation, violent extremism, or promoting illegal activities, is strictly prohibited. Violations of intellectual property rights, such as copyrighted or stolen works without permission, are also not allowed. You must have the legal rights to use and share any content you upload.
- Enforcement and Consequences: Content that violates these policies will be removed, and users with severe or repeated violations may face suspension or termination. We may also report illegal activities to authorities if necessary.
Public Content
If you choose to share content publicly, it may appear in searches or promotional materials, for example galleries, community spotlights, or social media.
AI-Assisted Features
- Future AI Tools: If IdeaDrawn offers AI-assisted features in the future, those features may generate imperfect, inaccurate, unexpected, or incomplete results.
- User Review Required: You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any AI-assisted output.
- No AI Training on Private Artwork: Unless we clearly say otherwise and receive any required consent, we do not use your private artwork, uploaded files, or non-public content to train artificial intelligence models.
Privacy & Security
- Your Data: We securely store your content, metadata, and personal information.
- No Selling: We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties for marketing or any other commercial purposes. Your information remains private and used only for providing and improving our services in accordance with our privacy policy.
- Account Controls: You may manage or request deletion of your account or personal data as described in the Account Deletion and Data Retention section.
- Third Party Services: We work with trusted third party providers to ensure our platform operates smoothly and securely. These providers assist with essential functions such as cloud storage, payment processing, analytics, and security.
Account Deletion and Data Retention

- Processing Time: We will make reasonable efforts to process deletion requests within a reasonable time after verifying the request, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
- Backups and Logs: Deleted content or account information may remain in backups, logs, security records, or archival systems for a limited period before being permanently removed.

Platform Guidelines
Acceptable Use
- Prohibited Activities: Do not use IdeaDrawn for harmful, illegal, or disruptive actions, such as fraud, harassment, or spreading malicious software. Any activity that damages the platform or its users is forbidden.
- Respect User Rights: Respect others’ intellectual property and privacy. Do not upload copyrighted material without permission or share others’ personal data without consent.
Moderation
We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and compliant platform for all users. To achieve this, we have moderation policies in place to address inappropriate content and ensure adherence to our Terms of Service and community guidelines.

Termination of Service

After Termination
After your account is terminated, your content may no longer be accessible on the platform. Certain information may be retained as described in the Account Deletion and Data Retention section or where required for legal, security, payment, or legitimate business purposes.
Intellectual Property
- Platform Content: The design, software, and other features of IdeaDrawn belong to us. Don’t copy or misuse them without permission.
- Your Content: You retain full rights to your work. We only use it to provide the service, such as generating previews, applying edits, and displaying thumbnails.
Feedback and Suggestions
If you submit feedback, ideas, suggestions, bug reports, feature requests, brush concepts, workflow ideas, or similar input, you grant IdeaDrawn permission to use, copy, modify, publish, and build on that feedback without restriction or compensation to you. This does not give us ownership of your artwork, private files, or other user content.
Copyright Complaints
We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same. If you believe content on IdeaDrawn infringes your copyright, you may send a notice to [email protected] with sufficient detail for us to review the claim, including your contact information, identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing material, and a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized. We may remove or disable access to material claimed to be infringing while we investigate.
Repeat Infringer Policy
IdeaDrawn maintains a repeat infringer policy. In appropriate circumstances, we may suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly post, upload, share, or otherwise make available content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
Liability
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IdeaDrawn is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors, viruses, or harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IdeaDrawn and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to IdeaDrawn for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).
Your Responsibilities
By using IdeaDrawn, you agree to use the platform responsibly and follow all applicable laws. You are solely responsible for your content and any actions you take on the platform. If your content or misuse leads to legal claims or disputes, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless for resulting costs, damages, and reasonable legal fees, including claims related to intellectual property, defamation, or illegal activity.

Content, features, suggestions, examples, templates, or outputs available through the service are for general creative and informational purposes only and are not legal, financial, business, professional, or design approval advice. You are responsible for reviewing your work and making your own decisions before relying on or publishing any content created with the service.
Governing Law & Disputes
- U.S. Based Business: IdeaDrawn operates from the United States, and these Terms are intended to be interpreted under applicable U.S. law.
- Governing Law: These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the service will be governed by the laws of the state in which IdeaDrawn is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- Venue: Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the United States with jurisdiction over IdeaDrawn’s principal place of business, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
- Time to Bring Claims: To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms must be brought within one year after the claim arose, or it will be permanently barred.
Changes to These Terms
